MOTIONS

Burning to write a motion and provoke a change in MSF?

Motions are ideas for change and improvement related to our identity and mandate.
They are also a good tool to put on the table a topic that you think merits a debate and follow-up actions. A motion that is approved by the members at the Gathering is ensured to be followed-up by a trio formed by the authors, one board member and one member of the executive and reported back at the next Gathering(s). Its follow-up can be monitored at any point of time with online access to the "motion follow-up sheet” on the motion’s corner on the Board SharePoint.

The motion committee will soon start sorting and selecting the motions proposals coming from the Field Associative Debates. If you and several fellow MSFers are burning to propose a motion and you can federate them in order to write a motion together, this is also possible!

If you need guidance, you can find supportive documents in the same folder on the SharePoint, or reach out to members of the motion committee via [email protected]

Don’t wait too long to start discussing and wording your idea as the deadline to submit a motion is 28 April.
