By joining the association, members engage in the collective responsibility of the MSF project, show commitment to MSF’s social mission, values and principles and contribute to determining how MSF’s medical action can best serve people in need of assistance.
As a member of the association you are also part of the governance of MSF: you take part in the process of reflection and questioning about MSF's actions through discussions, brainstorm and decisions that shape the organisation's identity and strategy. During the General Assembly of the members you elect a board who represents you and who delegates the day-to-day management of the association and support of operations to the executive which is accountable to the members of the association.
